Yesterday, US President, Joe Biden, and his Russian counterpart, Vladimir Putin met at a villa in Geneva in their first summit since Biden came to office.
The one-day meeting came at a time when relations between the two countries are tense and analysts' expectations about what could be achieved in the meeting were low.
And there were no major breakthroughs in the talks.
But they did pledge to resume work in several areas, including arms control and cyber security, which analysts say gives some hope for relations between the two countries going forward.
