There’s not a soul to be found in this eerie place, all that remains are the remnants of the lives the former residents left behind, pieces of family history scattered on the floors and in the halls of the structures of the people who once called them home. An abandoned school bus makes its last stop in this town and dangerous roads that seemingly lead to nowhere. But it is the church that seems to have inspired its ominous name. The white building in the center of Helltown is emblazoned with an upside-down cross. Robert is a one-of-a-kind, handmade doll who stands about 40 inches tall and he is dressed in a sailor suit. Robert was gifted to Eugene Robbert Ottos as a child, and wherever Eugene went you would find Robert always by his side. Eugene's parents started to hear him having conversations with Robert late at night, which was entirely normal. It was only when Eugene would speak in his usual voice, but the voice that replied was completely different from his that's when Eugene's parents started to worry. In addition to the household chaos, soon Eugene began speaking of the doll in the first person as if he were real. Together Robert The Doll and Eugene  Otto would go on to make a haunting mark in history. So settle in all you ghosts and ghouls, the main character in episode 5 of AFTERTHE3VER is Robert The Doll!

On a quiet residential street in the small town of Villisca Iowa, sits an old white house, that on dark evenings with no lights to be seen or sounds to be heard visitors of this house can immediately tell that this house is different from the other homes around it.  On June 10, 1912, the old white house at 508 E Second St became a grisly crime scene. The murders of Josiah B. Moore, his wife, their 4 children, and 2 young girls who were overnight guests rocked the small town of Villisca, IA.
