Did you ever feel like a “Debbie Downer” by mentioning your chronic illness? Does the thought of posting an “against the grain”post about what life is REALLY like with an invisible malady make you cringe? Are you afraid people won’t like you as much if you show your true colors? We have, it does and yes. We are YOU. Fast forward to a perceived good day of a filtered portrait and some upbeat quote and the likes flow like water. Why is this? Are we THAT afraid of acknowledging our loved ones, sometimes with incurable conditions, like we may catch it?
