In this episode, our hosts, Tammy and Caryn, feature Diana Jarret, Nafiseh Khoshandam, and Bahareh Ghaderi, who share how their lives got intertwined, starting with the work of Iranian jewelry designers Nafiseh and Bahareh . Through jewelry-making, both artists drew attention to the harshness in their society, and found a way to connect with journalist Diana Jarrett.  Diana tells their story  highlighting  their unique disruption design and their core Hoping Against Hope Collection which reflects their prayers that things will get better.

Diana Jarrett is a gem and jewelry industry legend. She is a graduate gemologist, master valuer, industry journalist, and mentor. She Brought Bahareh and Nafiseh's story to light by writing two feature articles on them that ran in multiple publications.  

Nafiseh Khoshandam & Bahareh Ghaderiare Iranian artists who created the Hoping against Hope Jewelry Collection; the artwork that took their story out. They have made art together since 2010, and have a combined 12 years of practical experience in other fields of art such as mural, public art, art medal, sculpture, jewelry design, and photography.
