During this week's episode, we spoke to several members of UBC's delegation to the 2022 United Nations Climate Change Conference about their experience at COP27. For our second segment, we spoke to Dr. Corey McAuliffe, CIHR Health System Intervention Postdoctoral Fellow at The Canadian Mental Health Association BC Division and Professor at UBC about academic burnout.

This week, we’re covering the student worker unionization campaign at UBC including updates from CUPE 2278’s latest bargaining session with UBC. We’ll also be talking about efforts to promote healthy masculinity at UBC with the Sexual Assault Support Centre and the UBC Vancouver Infraternity Council then ending off with a conversation with Ubyssey Blog and Opinion editor, Iman Janmohamed, about a recent article of hers about policies at UBC, including undergraduate society policies, shape consent culture on campus.

During this week's episode, we had a conversation with UBC Persian Club President, Ava Tabatabaei, about the UBC Persian Club's efforts to support the Iranian community both in the Vancouver area and in Iran during this time of social unrest.

For this episode, we interviewed several Iranian community members in the Metro Vancouver Area and the UBC Persian Club about their thoughts on the recent events in Iran including the passing of Zhina "Mahsa" Amini and the local community's response to these events.

For our episode this week, we had an interview with the co-President of Sprouts, Gizel Gedik a student-run organization at UBC about food insecurity on campus. We also had an informal conversation between a few of our News Collective members about navigating studying, exams and midterms season.

During this week's episode, we focused on the 2022 Vancouver municipal election. Our first segment included an interview with independent Vancouver mayoral candidate, Imtiaz Popat, about his platform and campaign. We also hosted a roundtable discussion with several UBC students about the issues that mattered to them during this election season and provided some information around how to participate in the election.
