Lv: Lietus lija bez apstājas, un izplūdušie ūdeņi piepildīja ieleju.
En: The rain fell without stopping, and the overflowing waters filled the valley.

Lv: Gaiss bija smags ar mitruma smaržu, un katra zāles lapa lēnām nogura.
En: The air was heavy with the scent of moisture, and each blade of grass slowly grew tired.
