Lifting weights can be challenging, but when you start to see the results, it doesn’t seem as difficult as you go along. Maybe you lift a bit heavier weight a few months down the road because your muscles have strengthened enough to handle that kind of pressure. Well today, Pastor Terry wants you to know that as you grow in your knowledge and understanding of who God is, you’re working your spiritual muscles and strengthening them in a very real and powerful way. Be strong in the things that matter most!

Usually, you think when someone’s on your side that they’ll be behind you all the way. Until you realize someone within your camp has gone rogue and has become a spy for the enemy. When you’re in a war, this could be a huge twist in the plot of what the outcome of the battle will be. Well in today’s teaching, Pastor Terry mentions how at times, an enemy might come from within the church, spreading lies, or believing something that simply isn’t true and isn’t in the Bible. So be on your guard!

If you know how to speak a foreign language, there’s no need for an interpreter to translate the information between the two languages. But when you don’t understand a language, it’s necessary to have someone who intercedes for you, to help you out. Well today, Pastor Terry gives a message about how Jesus came to be the One who intervenes for you! You don’t have to speak some kind of Christian-ese language to follow God. He wants your heart and He fills the gap that once was there.

You might do someone a favor because they’re you’re friend, or because you’ve known them for a long time. But what about a complete stranger that you don’t care to help? Would you do something for them, showing you have a concern about them? Today, Pastor Terry talks about how important prayer is…even for people that you don’t agree with, or that you may not want to pray for. But as you’ll hear…the more you pray for someone, the more your heart is softened, and you start to care for that person.

If you’re like most people, you’ve had times when you felt inadequate, when you didn’t know how to do what you were supposed to do. That can be an unsettling place to be. Today, on Agape Radio, Pastor Terry explains that God always gives you what you need to do the things He’s asked you to do. When you’re hiking in the forest, you have to pay attention to where you are so that you can stay on the correct path. Getting off track could quickly lead you into a dangerous situation. Just like in Paul’s time, there are people out there that say you have to do certain things to be good enough for God. But the Bible is clear…God’s grace is all you need. So, be alert and keep walking in His grace.
