We have been given one commission and one command from the Lord. The commission is to go into all the world and make disciples! The commandment is to love people! We tend to tell God that we love Him, but walk past those in need. "If someone says, 'I love God,' and hates his brother, he is a liar; for he who does not love his brother whom he has seen, how can he love God whom he has not seen?" (1 Jn 4:20) We need to make a quality decision: "Lord, I will serve Your people." God is not here for us to physically love Him; we love Him by loving those that He loves! We need to inspect our hearts and ask "where am I in serving God?" Remember what Jesus promised: if we will lay down our lives and serve Him, we will find the greatest life on planet earth! Give yourself to serving the Lord by serving His people!

Humility is the atmosphere of our heart that will invite the presence of God like nothing else! The pride of man, on the other hand, has produced every argument, war, murder, and rape that have ever taken place in the human race. ONLY pride causes contention. The pride of man is the nature of the devil. Love, on the other hand, always flows with humility. Humility cannot be separated form love. Humility is also a place of rest. There are multiple manifestations of pride; here are a few of its various forms: 1. Pride always wants to exalt itself. 2. Pride is not interested in others, only in self. 3. Pride always tries to be "different." 4. Pride does not want to be taught or corrected; it only wants to teach and correct others, always being right.

We will be judged by our production, not by our consumption. Our identity as the righteous of God in Christ is meant to embolden us to step up and produce. When we think of ourselves as unrighteous, we avoid action - trying to make ourselves right first. But "the just shall live by faith!" Those that know they're righteous are as bold as a lion! Step out of the the classroom and onto the field!

The Old Testament sacrifices were a type and shadow of Jesus and His atoning work on our behalf. In addition, the true meaning of Rom. 4:25 is also brought out in this sermon revealing the very place in time in which we were all justified in God's eyes!

Our God is a God of excellence, and desires us to walk in excellence.
