We invite you to slow down and listen to this class as we pause to be still and encounter Jesus afresh.
Listen in, and be guided to Jesus through meditation, prayer, and Scripture. Set aside a quiet time to pause, be still, and breathe slowly in order to encounter Jesus afresh in your soul.
Acts 9.1-19
The Gospels are filled with moments of encounter—stories of people meeting Jesus and leaving changed. Over four weeks, we'll enter into several of these passages through contemplative prayer, allowing Scripture to become a place of personal encounter as we listen for Christ's invitation and discover how He is meeting us in our own lives. Join us as we encounter Jesus together in this four week class!
Resurrection Faith.
The Bible is a patterned book. As we look at and contemplate its images, patterns, and symbols, we begin to see the world and our lives through the lens of scripture. The life of Abraham, the “Father of the Faith,” is a focal point in the biblical story. This class examines how Abraham’s story picks up major themes and patterns from Genesis 1-11, ties them together and develops them further. The goal is to learn to see these patterns and themes as they run through Abraham’s story, underlie the whole biblical narrative, and inform our lives today.
God is enough....for me! Listen in as we finish up our class on receiving and living into the abundant life that God has for us.
