Many older Australians are feeling confused and uncertain about what these changes will mean for them.
The Aged Care Bill 2024, introduced to Parliament on 12 September 2024, was passed on 25 November 2024 and will come into effect as the new Aged Care Act on 1 July 2025.
Call the Aged Care Advocacy Line, their national team of advocates is available Monday to Friday 8am–8pm and Saturday 10am-4pm 1800 700 600
