Hosts Paris and David are joined on this episode of the 'Aged Like Milk' Podcast by TV writer Lucy Luna.
Lucy is a Mexican writer living in Los Angeles - her multi award-winning feature script, Sophie & Valentina led her to the beginning of her professional journey. She won the 2019 HBOAccess Writing Fellowship, the ScreenCraft Fellowship, and placed on the Young & Hungry List.
Her short horror film (which she wrote and directed), 'We’re All Here', found success in the festival circuit garnering 6 awards to date. She penned a horror feature script for Mexican producer Gerardo Gática, wrote on CW’s Two Sentence Horror Stories, and is currently writing on CBS’ All Rise.
Lucy just sold her first show and continues to develop feature and television projects, focusing primarily on the horror, thriller, and drama genres.
Join us as we discuss the Spanish civil war, why people enjoy horror films (spoiler alert - it's the dopamine) inspirational foreign filmmakers, and some of the struggles immigrants face trying to break into the industry.
