Oddly, there doesn’t seem to be a lot of hard data out there about ageism in tech.

Sure, there’s Dan Lyons’ scathing “Disrupted: My Misadventure in the Start-Up Bubble” and quite a few think pieces. But where are the studies, diversity reports with age data, or popular surveys?  

For all that’s been written about the subject, I was surprised to learn that many news articles and blog posts rely on the same few data sources.

That led me on the search for new data and insights.
