The Moana Nui Podcast was invited to MomoCon to interview their guests and capture last year's con experience! We teamed up with a few guest co-hosts, Alan Z and The Oppai Princess, to interview these amazing guests!
Our first guest is an American Producer, Voice Actor, Line Producer, ADR Director, and Engineer. Justin Cook has provided voices for a number of English language versions of Japanese anime films and series, he is most notable role being Yusuke Urameshi in YuYu Hakusho. Other notable credits include, Raditz and Dende in Dragonball, Hatsuharu in Fruits Basket and Kirishima in My Hero Academia..
Phil LaMarr is perhaps best known as one of the original cast members of MAD TV, “Hermes” on FUTURAMA, “Marvin” in PULP FICTION, “Green Lantern” on JUSTICE LEAGUE and as the voice of SAMURAI JACK. For over 30 years, Phil has thrilled audiences with his work on camera and behind the mic on TV shows such as STATIC SHOCK, FAMILY GUY, YOUNG JUSTICE, STAR WARS: THE CLONE WARS, THE FLASH, SUPERGIRL, GET SHORTY, LUCIFER, CURB YOUR ENTHUSIASM and VEEP; feature films like MADAGASCAR 2, INCREDIBLES 2, and THE LION KING (2019) and video games including JAK & DAXTER, FORTNITE, SHADOW OF MORDOR, and the METAL GEAR SOLID, INJUSTICE and MORTAL KOMBAT series.
Phil is appearing in Cartoon Network’s CRAIG OF THE CREEK, Netflix’s MASTERS OF THE UNIVERSE: REVELATION and THE BOOK OF BOBA FETT.
Our third guest is a voice actor/animator known for his work in film, television and games. He can be heard regularly on Fox’s Family Guy, American Dad, and The Cleveland Show. Fred Tatasciore has voiced Hulk/Banner, Beast, Thing, and Crossbones in countless animated roles, including Hulk and the Agents of Smash, Avengers Assemble, MARVEL Spiderman (Max Model), and Guardians of the Galaxy, Ultimate Spiderman. For DC, He played various characters on Batman, The Brave and the Bold, DC Girls as Bane, Solomon Grundy, Deathstroke, Gorilla Grod, Killer Croc, and The Killing Joke (as Ringmaster). He is currently playing in Marvel's Moon Girl and Devil Dinosaur as Devil Dinosaur, Coach Hrbek and Devos.
Our bonus interview is with Geoff Ramsey. Geoff, one of the original members of Rooster Teeth, is also the founder of Achievement Hunter and Let’s Play. He voices the popular character “Grif” in Red vs. Blue, in addition to appearing numerous other Rooster Teeth productions, he has voiced characters in Red Dead Redemption, multiple games in the Halo franchise, and has appeared in shows alongside Will Arnett, Bill Nye, Kumail Nanjiani, and world famous athletes such as Anthony Davis, Rob Gronkowski, and Thierry Henry.
