Dennis and Glenda Gehman founded Gehman Design Remodeling in 1990. And he’s still going strong on his 29th year in business. Gehman Design Remodeling is a full-service design-build company focussed primarily on residential remodeling. They have a beautiful showroom, which leads to a lot of kitchen and bath projects.

Dennis is a charter member and past president of Bucks Mont NARI & NARI-BIE (the National Association of the Remodeling Industry) and is currently Treasurer of the NARI National Board.

He has been especially involved in creating accessible spaces for his clients, as well as serving on the board of Spruce Lake Retreat, a Christian camp and conference center in the Poconos. Spruce Lake has made serving people with disabilities part of their core values.

He recently completed 8 years (2 of those as the board chair) on the Development Board for Joni & Friends of Greater Philadelphia, a Christian ministry that focuses on people with disabilities and their caregivers.

He is a Certified Aging in Place Specialist (CAPS), as well as a:

  • MCR = NARI Master Certified Remodeler
  • CLC = NARI Certified Lead Carpenter
  • CKBR = NARI Certified Kitchen & Bath Remodeler
  • CRPM = NARI Certified Remodeling Project Manager
  • Master Registered Plumber

In addition to all that he personally oversees all disability / aging in place related projects that they remodel.
