Hello Time Travelers,
Welcome to The Red Bridge, a Kids on Bikes campaign where characters play custom tropes and scenarios in both the 'real-world' of Shady Creek Missouri, and a homebrew world called Ivaria. The Red Bridge is a game within a game where players can traverse their real teenage problems in 1990's Midwest America and find themselves in even more trouble in a magical world of imagination held within the confines of a board game called The Red Bridge.
We finish up our first half of session 0 as our players complete the world that is The Red Bridge. Then we hop into some gameplay, where we play a one-shot of an alternate timeline some years in the future.
Fair warning: Do not get attached to anyone in this session 0.
Content warnings: Teenagers in peril, implied death.

It's the first half of our session 0 and the players have already created their custom tropes before our session. Now we must flush out the characters' mysterious hometown of Shady Creek, the wonderous land of Ivaria which is held in the enigmatic game The Red Bridge.
Stay tuned for a stand-alone gameplay session after this where we delve head-first into an apocalyptic future to test out this unique bending of the Kids on Bikes system to this strange and unusual campaign.

Hello! Welcome to The AfterMath, a space where I let my midnight ramblings be recorded with the hopes that sharing my thoughts, will help someone else, process their stressors, how to use roleplay games to build community, decrease isolation, and discuss minority issues in healthy aging in the United States. My name is Tanya also known as TanyaLashea, game master for the Aging Journey Podcast, researcher in race inequities in aging, and big ole nerd.
This is the discussion of the promo episode, where I tell the whole story of the infamous family poker game where I lost my title as undefeated. We delve into why I thought of this story and now think of it often two years after the death of my father, and how this family tradition I started hasn't been played since his death.
