The guys discuss the concepts of Mutual Exclusivity, Mutual Inclusivity, and Cognitive Dissonance and how it relates to current public discourse.  They discuss the similarities between the political factions in the US as far as their passions for ideas, for example the left feels about abortion the same way the right feels about the 2nd Amendment.  They discuss the possibility that we as citizens could find mutual ground by realizing what we have in common with each other and not dismiss the other side because we're "supposed to".
