Between The Lines

The guys listen to a speech made to the Oxford Union.  Konstantin Kisir addresses the Oxford Union and completely DESTROYS wokeness with logical factual arguments.  The guys then discuss the way to the solution and it's not through regulation but through innovation.

The guys look at the very, very positive outcome of one of the most scary plays in NFL history.  DaMar Hamlin of the Buffalo Bills was severely injured during a routine tackle that cause sudden cardiac arrest.  DaMar was given CPR on the field and was taken to nearby UC medical center where he was listed in critical condition.  An amazing outpouring of generosity and faith followed, with prayers coming from nationwide and even internationally.  The show of positive faith and the collective power of prayer has never been seen on a scale like this before.  Our Lord is a great and generous God, one of mercy and compassion and the evidence has never been more prevalent as it was this week.

The guys discuss 2022 and the positives that can be taken into 2023.  They discuss the possibility of focusing on the positives we have in stead of our issues and differences.  2023 has the potential to be a great year, let's focus on making that a reality in 2023! Happy New Year from Between The Lines!

The guys discuss the erosion of creativity in Hollywood today.  It seems as if studios will continue to keep remaking the same movies over and over again forever.

The guys discuss the new Disney+ plus reboot of "Willow", spoiler Dave is not a fan!  They talk about how reboots have become the norm and how Hollywood has become stagnant with creativity.

The guys discuss the failures of the MSM and the recent revelations by CBS and other major outlets that things we have been saying for years were right all along.  Recent issues aren't the true problem but symptoms of a society that is not healthy at its core.  We need to work on the underlying issues plaguing our nation before we can start to heal and move forward, which may include cutting away the dead tissue and allowing that healing to begin.

The guys discuss the results of the 2022 Midterm Elections as they stand at the moment.

The guys discuss the current political climate and how American politics is broken.  We no longer vote our hearts we vote our registration card.  We need to get back to a time when you voted for the candidate and not their affiliation.  "Vote Them Out" is a statement pointed towards any politician that serves their best interest over that of the people, no matter their affiliation.

The guys discuss the progression of AI and how it has become nearly indistinguishable from reality.  What makes us human, and if AI can exhibit the same traits of humans what prevents AI from establishing personhood?  Does "I think, therefore I am" apply to AI?

The  guys discuss logical fallacies and how they are rampant in our culture and in our politics.  No honest debate can be had in any forum without an agreed upon decorum, and for centuries these arguments have been avoided, we as Americans seem to embrace them, why?
