Bargain-hunters can now buy 'identical' versions of Paco Rabanne's Fame and Phantom perfumes for a fraction of the price at Aldi.
The budget supermarket has released two new Lacura Cozmo sprays that are as much as 94% cheaper than the high-end brand. Priced at £6.99 each, shoppers could save up to £111 compared to the designer brand's Fame eau de parfum (£118.00 for 80ml) and around £77.01 on its Phantom eau de toilette (£84 for 100ml).
Aldi’s health and beauty brand, Lacura, is welcoming a new fragrance duo to stores this December. Lacura's Cozmo for Him Eau de Parfum (£6.99, 100ml) and Cozmo for Her Eau de Parfum (£6.99, 100ml) hit shelves on December 10, and will both be around while stocks last.

Commenting on the new perfumes, Aldi said: "Whether shoppers are looking to gift loved ones or are simply seeking a new signature scent for the festive season, these cruelty-free fragrances are guaranteed to be a sell-out, especially with savings of up to 94% compared to designer Paco Rabanne."
A "bold and refined scent" for men, Lacura's Cozmo for Him Eau de Parfum features notes of vanilla, lemon zest and lavender. It also has earthy tones of smoke, patchouli and vetiver for a "confident and energised scent".

Meanwhile, Lacura's Cozmo for Her Eau de Parfum offers playful hints of mango, bergamot and jasmine. These are paired with warm vanilla and sandalwood notes for an "empowered and sensual finish".
The arrival of the two new budget perfumes haven't gone unnoticed by Aldi shoppers, with many sharing their reaction to the 'dupes' on social media. On popular Facebook group, Extreme Couponing and Bargains UK, one shopper called Chloe, shared a picture of the new perfumes, writing: "Paco Robanne dupes - Gold is hers and Silver is his! £6.99 in Aldi. Smell so strong."
Her post quickly gain plenty of attention from fellow members, with thousands leaving comments and likes. Sophie said: "Just got these today, the man's smells lovely." Kim added: "Just got both, they smell amazing."
However Fiona wrote: "Sprayed it in shop, by the time I finished shopping could no longer smell it." Elizabeth added: "It smells nice but doesn't last."
Other perfumes on the market that feature similar mango and vanilla scents include Marc Jacobs Daisy Ever So Fresh Eau de Parfum for women, at £44.80 for 30ml. There's also Noted Aromas' Ibiza fragrance, at £19.99 for 50ml, which feature "exotic top notes." Ariana Grande's MOD Vanilla perfume spray is also available for £33 (30ml). Meanwhile, Lush is selling a its 'Vanillary' perfume that smells "fudge-like and deliciously sweet" (£25, 30ml).
Aldi often stocks its shelves with various cheaper alternatives to designer products - including its Lacura Sweet Angel shower gel, which £1.79 for 500ml. The product has been impressing shoppers for how 'similar' it is to Lush's popular candy-scented Snow Fairy collection. A bottle of Lush's Snow Fairy can cost you either £7 for 100g, £14 for 275g, £24 for 550g or £36 for 1kg.
The supermarket has also recently launched a trio of unisex fragrances in stores nationwide. Priced at just £4.99 a 100ml bottle, the supermarket's latest Hotel Collection range is now available to buy, while stocks last that many shoppers say are 'identical' to Tom Ford's Soleil Blanc.
