In the course of time Cain brought some of the fruits of the soil as an offering to the Lord. And Abel also brought an offering—fat portions from some of the firstborn of his flock. The Lord looked with favor on Abel and his offering, 5 but on Cain and his offering he did not look with favor. So Cain was very angry, and his face was downcast (Genesis 4:3-5)

For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith the LORD, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end (Jeremiah 29:11)

The birth of Jesus is not just a historical event but a divine promise fulfilled. In Isaiah 9:6, we are reminded of the profound impact His arrival has on the world. Jesus was born to bring light into the darkness, peace into chaos, and hope to the hopeless. His titles — Wonderful, Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, and Prince of Peace — reveal the nature of His mission.

In a world where we are often taught to strive for success and measure our worth by what we can accomplish, God's grace offers us something radically different: the assurance that we are loved, accepted, and saved, not because of what we do, but because of who He is. This truth frees us from the burden of trying to prove ourselves worthy. We are accepted and loved just as we are.

God reigns over all. His throne is established in heaven, an unshakeable foundation that extends His dominion across every realm—both visible and invisible. We are reminded that no matter the circumstances we face, God is still in control. His kingdom is not limited by time, space, or human understanding. It is everlasting, and it encompasses every area of our lives. Whether we are in moments of joy or struggle, in seasons of prosperity or difficulty, God is ruling over it all, working all things according to His perfect will.

In every corner of the world, from the bustling cities to the quietest villages, there is a universal call to glorify our Creator. Psalm 66:4 reminds us that the whole earth is designed to bow down in reverence, to sing praises to God, and to honor His name. This is not just a poetic image but a powerful truth: our purpose as human beings is intertwined with the worship and glorification of our Maker.

Our lives are ultimately accountable to God. We should be inspired to live intentionally and authentically, knowing that each choice we make matters. We should be encouraged to focus on living a life of integrity, love, and purpose, rather than being overly concerned with the opinions or judgments of others. Instead of comparing ourselves to others, we are called to align our actions with God’s will and purpose for our lives.

You must take firm control of everything under your responsibility. Whether the tasks are large or small, it is essential to manage them effectively. Our inability to handle smaller responsibilities has often resulted in the collapse of many businesses and the escalation of problems that could have been resolved early on.

You will account for the lives of your children during judgement day. Make it a point to check on your wards. Don’t blame your negligence of them on the economy. It is your utmost duty to ensure that they are safe. Training your wards well sends a good message of who you are. This task should be done with prayers, communication and a good advice.
