As Executive Chairman of AMI Labs, LeCun has appointed Alex LeBrun as CEO to lead the company’s efforts in developing sophisticated world models. Unlike standard language models, these systems are designed to understand physical reality, simulate cause and effect, and master complex planning.

The startup is already generating significant investor interest, reportedly seeking a multi-billion-dollar valuation before its formal debut. Furthermore, the firm has established a strategic partnership with the health tech company Nabla to integrate these advanced reasoning capabilities into the medical field.
