Last Sunday, as usual, we were eager to go on one of our getaways to Costanera Sur to have some mate by the Rio De La Plata. However, as had been happening lately, we were unlucky and it was closed due to the bad weather. But that didn't stop us from enjoying some warm mate, and well, I thought of showing how I make mate, haha.

It was terribly cold and that warm infusion was good for us to warm up since we couldn't even ride our bikes to get warm. We hope next time you see us drinking mate, it will be in front of the huge mass of water of the widest river in the world.

El Domingo pasado, como ya es costumbre, teníamos ganas de hacer una de nuestras escapadas a la Costanera sur para tirarnos a tomar unos mates junto al Rio De La Plata pero, como últimamente venía pasando, tuvimos mala suerte y esta estaba cerrada por el mal clima pero eso no nos impidió disfrutar de unos mates calentitos y bueno, se me ocurrió de mostrar como hago yo el mate ja,ja,ja.

Hacia un frio terrible y nos vino bien esa infusión calentita para entrar en calor ya que tampoco pudimos andar en bici para entrar en calor. Esperamos la próxima vez que nos vean tomando mate, sea frente a la enorme masa de agua del Rio mas ancho del mundo.

(The botanic garden)

This past Sunday, with my husband, we decided to take the day to give ourselves a break from the routine of the week and oxygenate our ideas since I fell into depression and he tells me: **"Take Sunday and let's go anywhere"**.

The chosen place to get some fresh air was ***Thays Garden** or better known as "The botanical garden." This is a mini green lung located in Palermo with an impressive variety of all kinds of plants.

The day was cold, not ideal for being outdoors but that didn't stop us and we had a great time. Taking a stroll through nature refreshes you and is very necessary to disconnect from the routine even for a little while.

Este pasado Domingo, con mi esposo, decidimos tomarnos el día para darnos un respiro de la rutina de la semana y oxigenar las ideas ya que caí en depresión y el me dice: **"Tomate el Domingo y vayamos a cualquier lado"**.

El sitio elegido para tomar aire fue el ***El jardín Thays** o mejor conocido como "El jardín botánico". Este es un mini pulmón verde ubicado en Palermo con una variedad impresionante de todo tipo de plantas.

El día estaba frio, no estaba para estar al aire libre pero eso no nos detuvo y la pasamos super. Pasear por la naturaleza te renueva y es muy necesario para desconectar el chip de la rutina aunque sea un ratito.

Almost 5 months ago, I already told that my kitten **Pepe**, went to kitten heaven due to a leukemia that we did not know about, he suffered since he was an adult cat and came from a house that we did not know anything about except that he only suffered Therefore, we mistreated you, we caught him in poor condition, malnourished and late for him to be saved even though we did everything in our power to achieve it.

This video is not only in tribute to him and to release this pain that I still carry inside me, but rather, it is to help in the cause of #JuntosPorManuela, a hiver who has the same disease as her.

With this, I am not comparing the cases of a kitten with a girl at all since I know they are different although the suffering in both beings is similar. My main objective is for **Pepe** to help Manuela even a little with this by contributing his grain of sand to the cause.

Hace ya casi 5 meses, ya Conté que mi gatito **Pepe**, partió al cielo de los gatitos debido a una leucemia que desconocíamos , padecía ya que era un gato adulto y venía de una casa que no sabíamos nada mas que solo sufría maltrataos por ende, lo agarramos en mal estado, desnutrido y tarde para que se salve a pesar de que hicimos todo lo que estuvo a nuestro alcance para lograrlo.

Este video no es solo en homenaje a él y para liberar este dolor que aún llevo dentro mío sino que mas bien, es para ayudar en la causa de #JuntosPorManuela , una hiver que tiene la misma enfermedad que ella.

Con esto, no estoy comparando en absoluto los casos de un gatito con una chica ya que sé, son diferentes aunque el sufrimiento en ambos seres es similar. Mi objetivo principal es que **Pepe**, ayude a Manuela aunque sea un poco con esto aportando su grano de arena a la causa.

El se fué pero este video quedará como prueba de que aportó mucho a una persona que padece lo mismo que el padeció. Quiero que el día de hoy, **Pepe** sea el ángel de Manuela.

On **April 23rd** was **Book Day**. I didn't post about it and I know, it's like 10 days late but better late than never since just this past Sunday, I was able to visit the **International Book Fair** that took place at "La Rural", located in Palermo, Buenos Aires where, in different stands, all kinds of books and respective publishers were exhibited.

I had been wanting to buy myself a good bunch of books for a while since reading is one of my favorite leisure activities and well, taking advantage that it was also my birthday recently, I decided to give myself this self-gift and my husband accompanied me.

El pasado **23 de Abril** fue el **día del libro**. No hice publicación al respecto y sé, que son como 10 días tarde pero mas vale tarde que nunca ya que recién el Domingo pasado, pude visitar la **Feria internacional del libro** que se llevó a cabo en "La Rural", ubicada en Palermo , Buenos Aires en la cual, se exhibían en diferentes stands todo tipo de libros y editoriales respectivas.

Hace tiempo tenía ganas de comprarme una buena tanda de libros ya que leer, es una de mis actividades de ocio favoritas y bueno, aprovechando que tambien fue mi cumpleaños hace poco, decidí hacerme este auto regalo y mi esposo, me acompañó.

Si bien, muchos stands no captaron mi atención, hubo otros que me dejaron embobada como el de mitología griega del cual, me quería llevar todo pero opté esta vez, por llevarme solo las dos bellezas que ven en la foto. Abajo les dejo fotos de lo demás que compré.

La entrada no fue tan cara y traía ciertos beneficios así que si quieres ir debes desembolsar dinero ya que no es libre para todos ja,ja,ja. Por lo demás, quede super contenta ese día ya que me lleve varios bebes a casa y ahora tengo lectura para rato aunque aun tengo varios pdf pendientes. Hermosa experiencia de verdad.

Today, I am participating in the initiative that is already ending called: [The werewolves have invaded ZDE!](https://peakd.com/hive-196487/@zonadeescalofrio/kdqfzkus) which invited us to talk about these mythical immortal beings that inspire so much fear, and well, this strange but creepy little poem came out of my mind where I was inspired after leaving my house, early in the morning, with the streets deserted, riding my bike in the midst of thick fog, wondering what would happen if a werewolf emerged from it? Thus was born "Who would have thought...". A poem to reflect on where perhaps, today we go out into the street and return transformed into a monster.

El día de hoy, me encuentro participando de la iniciativa que ya finaliza llamada: [ ¡Los hombres lobo han invadido ZDE!](https://peakd.com/hive-196487/@zonadeescalofrio/kdqfzkus) la cual, nos invitaba a hablar sobre estos seres míticos inmortales que tanto pavor dan y bueno, de mi mente salió este pequeño poema extraño pero creepy del cual me inspiré saliendo de mi casa, en la mañana temprano, con las calles desoladas, yendo en bicicleta en medio de la espesa neblina y me preguntaba ¿Qué pasaría si de ella emergería un hombre lobo? Welcome to the seventh and final part of this adventure to the Argentine North! This time, we went on a trip to the coolest city in Salta: **Cafayate** and, as always, we would make several stops that were very interesting. I believe that, from my point of view, this tour had the most beautiful landscapes of all after the visit to the Dam so come along with us!

¡Bienvenidos a la séptima y última parte de esta aventura al Norte Argentino! Esta vez, fuimos de viaje para la ciudad mas cool de Salta: **Cafayate** y, como siempre, haríamos varias paradas de lo mas interesantes. Yo creo que, desde mi punto de vista, esta excursión tuvo los paisajes mas bellos de todos después de la visita al Dique así que ¡Acompáñennos!

The first stop, I want to dedicate it to @jcrodriguez. Why? The reason is simple: **In this bridge a scene from the famous Argentine movie "Wild Tales" was filmed**, the tragicomedy part of the bridge where two men face each other over a traffic conflict. La primer parada, se la quiero dedicar a @jcrodriguez ¿Por qué? El motivo es fácil: **En este puente se filmo una historia de la famosa película Argentina "Relatos salvajes"**, la parte de la tragicomedia del puente donde dos hombres se enfrentan por un conflicto vial. Even the burned car that appears in the movie was there for decoration, although I doubt it's the original hahaha still, it was great and I got very excited since I love that movie.

The second stop was at the Devil's Throat (I tell a little about it in the video) but the third was at the natural amphitheater and it is called that because the acoustics produced there are so majestic that even symphony orchestras go there to perform live. This part, I dedicate to my favorite musician from Hive, @jesuslnrs, who I know if he were there, he would be happy to see such a work of nature that relates to music.

La segunda parada fue a la garganta del diablo (En el video cuento un poco sobre ella) pero la tercera fue al anfiteatro natural y se llama así, porque la acústica que se produce allí es tan majestuosa que incluso van orquestas sinfónicas a tocar allí en vivo. Esta parte, se la dedico a mi musico favorito de Hive @jesuslnrs que se que si estuviera allí, estaría feliz de conocer semejante obra de la naturaleza que se relaciona con la música.

To finish up, after traveling several more kilometers, we arrived in Cafayate. It wasn't the place that surprised me the most as it seemed like a more urbanized site, but I did enjoy the journey towards it... Everything was very expensive, for sure haha.

The walk was beautiful, we saw geoforms and everything. We had an amazing time really and it was a bit sad to have to return but there was no other option. These vacations are over but looking forward to seeing what the next ones have in store for us.

Para ir finalizando, luego de recorrer varios km mas, llegamos a Cafayate. No fue el lugar que mas me sorprendió ya que parecía un sitio urbanizado mas pero si que disfrute el camino hacia ella... Todo muy caro, eso si ja,ja,ja.

El paseo estuvo hermoso, vimos geoformas y todo. La pasamos espectacular realmente y fue un poco triste tener que volver pero no quedaba otra. Se terminaron estas vacaciones pero deseando ver que nos deparan las próximas.

Before reaching our destination, we made stops again at the 7 Colors Hill and Purmamarca. We didn't miss the opportunity to admire the majesty of said hill again and take more photos this time, from another perspective as we went to a viewpoint located in Purmamarca that we had pending to climb. It was a bit dizzying because it was quite high but the photos we took were spectacular. You could appreciate all the colors of the massif better due to the location and the sun shining directly on it.

Antes de llegar a destino, hicimos paradas nuevamente en el cerro 7 colores y Purmamarca. No perdimos oportunidad de admirar la majestuosidad de dicho cerro nuevamente y tomar mas fotos esta vez, desde otra perspectiva ya que fuimos a un mirador ubicado en Purmamarca al que nos quedó pendiente subir . Daba un poco de vértigo porque estaba bastante alto pero las fotos que tomamos quedaron espectaculares. Se podían apreciar mejor todos los colores del macizo debido a la ubicación y el sol que le pegaba de frente.

To finish, after visiting the colonial town of Humahuaca, we saw a rock formation called "the painter's palette" because it looks so beautiful when the sun hits it, like a hand-painted picture.

Really, this trip was spectacular even though after so many days of excursions, this one was quite tough for me because I was exhausted, but it was worth the effort. We were almost about to head back to Buenos Aires and we had two more days with another long excursion, so the next day we rested to have the energy to visit our next destination, which would be **Cafayate**.

Para finalizar, luego de visitar el pueblo colonial Humahuaca, vimos una formación rocosa llamada la paleta del pintor ya que de tan hermosa que es cuando le pega el sol, parece un cuadro pintado a mano.

Realmente, este viaje estuvo espectacular aunque después de tantos días de excursiones, este lo sufrí bastante porque estaba agotada pero, valió la pena el esfuerzo. Ya casi teníamos que volver a Baires y nos quedaban dos días mas con otra excursión larga así que al día siguiente descansamos para así el otro, tener la energía de visitar nuestro próximo destino que seria **Cafayate**.

(Stairs in the forest)

After a period of inactivity in horror, I started writing again, this time, a horror story based on a famous urban legend known as **Stairs in the Forest** which tells us that when you find an abandoned staircase in the middle of a forest, if you climb it, it takes you to another dimension.

This story is only inspired but not exactly the original since I adapted it to a fiction story written by me to give an anecdote to this tale that catches my attention.

- **Synopsis:**

A group of friends who enjoy camping, during one of their nature getaways, come across a mysterious and curious abandoned staircase in the middle of the forest that leads to nothingness.

They set themselves a challenge: to climb it and see what happens, but they were not aware that the legend surrounding them might be real.

Después de un periodo sin actividad de horror, volví a escribir esta vez, una historia de horror basada en una famosa leyenda urbana conocida como **Escaleras en el bosque** la cual, nos comenta que cuando hallas una escalera abandonada en medio de un bosque , si la subes, esta te lleva a otra dimensión.

Esta historia solo esta inspirada mas no es así exactamente la original ya que la adapte a una historia de ficción escrita por mi para darle una anécdota a este relato que me llama mucho la atención.

- **Sinopsis:**

Un grupo de amigo aficionado a la actividad de acampar, en una de esas escapadas en medio de la naturaleza, se topan con una misteriosa y curiosa escalera abandonada en mitad del bosque que lleva a la nada misma.

Se proponen un desafío: Subirla y ver que sucede pero no contaban con la leyenda que se cuenta sobre ellas, fuera real.
