First off I'd like to say a BIG THANK YOU to everyone who has subscribed and has been listening in. It's great to know there's ears out there. Please feel free to leave any comments or send a quick note, it's also good to hear from people too.

Well in my opinion, no one! It's still out there, ya just have to listen out for it a bit harder sometimes. Those times when you find yourself truly smiling from the inside, then you know you've got soul! Most of the tunes in this mix gave me that feeling when making this. They are the sort of tunes that manage to weave themselves into your mind then body and ultimately make you wanna throw some funky shapes down right here right now!

Hello! Here's a new podcast for you. For those that came with us, this is what we were listening to at Southport Weekender this May. Hope it brings back some great memories!

Hi Everyone!

Been far too long since I last posted an update to my podcast. Been a very busy year in lots of great and inspiring ways, especially musically.

I've made several new mixes to share with you. In each case my aim was not to imitate or recreate a particular experience or person, but rather capture that mood or atmosphere that I found so inspiring and bring a little of it through in that mix.

For example, this first mix is heavily influenced by my recent and first visit to The Southport Weekender No.41! This by yearly event is already legendary. I've been hearing about it and meaning to go for the past 15 years. Well this year I went and oh my goodness wasn't I blown away by the entire experience. This is how I remembered house music being!

Needless to say, I'm already booked in for the next one in May!
