Fourth episode of Aware! focuses on Pride month and LGBTQ+ community. Together with Anneke van der Werf, the Chair of the A.S.V.Gay student association, we discuss contemporary issues facing the LBGTQ+ community, as well as corporate performative activism, discrimination and inclusivity in Amsterdam, and more. 

The third episode of Aware! focuses on mental health awareness. We asked various university students to submit pieces of writing regarding their thoughts and feelings about mental health issues. Some offer firsthand insight into what it is like to struggle with mental illness or turn to music for solace, while others offer advice and celebrate recovery from the darkest of places. Second episode of Aware! focuses on climate change. Together with two members of UvA Green Office - Luna Hamann and Zita Kosaras - we discuss different ways one can be sustainable while still addressing large scale global change. First episode of Aware! focuses on women's issues for women's month. Together with Dr. Mari Mikkola and Mischa Dekker we are covering issues about women in pornography and sexual harassment in the #MeToo movement.
