This is the first part of a three-part series about Father Anthony's trip to Mexico. The reason he went was to attend the Solemn Dedication and Consecration of the Christ the King Church in Zapopan, Mexico. Bishop Luis Madrigal invited him, Bishop Giles, and any of the faithful from the United States to attend. In this first part, Father Anthony shares stories about the trip as a whole. He gives his point of view and his first impressions about Mexico, the people, and their expression of faith, which is such a part of Catholic Mexico's culture. He relates the lessons he learned and how the experiences and connections he made helped to strengthen his own faith.
