The Early Years and libraries team in Slough have been sharing information about early reading and language skills, and running a competition to build a reading den – for schools, settings and families to enter, and asking parents and practitioners to vote for their favourite children’s book so we can compile Slough top ten   Aimee’s nursery has built a reading den and encouraging their parents to do the same at home The staff use books to plan for and support children’s learning across the curriculum
