This episode's guest is my friend, LA-born, and after many years away, once again LA-based Chris Clemo. Chris' path has lead him to San Diego, to Barcelona, to San Fransisco and New York City. Over the years his interest in music and the various styles coming out of these cities at different points in time has had a large influence on his style as a DJ. Always evolving, continuing to encounter new material and meet new people that continue to mold his broad tastes in music, and style of playing it. Chris, being a man of many talents is someone who's really made an impression on me when I was visiting California a couple of years ago.

Now in the process of re-locating to Los Angeles (and later this summer his first European tour), Eddie is known for championing emerging sounds and artists, earning opportunities to play music alongside artist(s) like KAYTRANADA, DaM-FunK & Soulection.

Known for creating vibes that tastefully appeal to the massess, he also loves to lead dance floors off the beaten path floating through disco, NYC loft, Chicago house and UK garage music. He's studies the history of dance music very closely, too -- citing Larry Levan & The Paradise Garage as his foundation.

England seems to be the place to be for Disco-editors. Actually some of the most talented of those are situated there. Chuggin' Edits, this episode's guest, is from Essex near London and yes – he’s a Disco-connaisseur. And yes, his Ain't No Big Thing exclusive mix is packed with massive tunes from well-known artists. If you haven’t been familiar with the man in charge, his SoundCloud-profile offers you an immense collection of his art and everyone should be able to pic a couple of favorites amongst those.

Mr Chugg started the edit game in the summer of 2014 and his first track ever to be released on the Deep Sense label - 1st Voyage Compilation (A Tribe Called Quest - Bonita Applebum)became the best seller. He’s also on the new Deep Sense-sampler, their second installment, so there’s certainly a lot more to be expected from the talented guy in the near future. Chuggin is also a regular soldier for the Spa In Disco Label.

Skip forward more than 25 years through countless worldwide residencies and numerous vinyl releases and we find Alkalino at the top of the international Disco Edit craze with releases on multiple labels including: Mo'sFerry, Audaz, Ze Records (N.Y), Whiskey Disco, S.O.R, Dikso, Naked Lunch, Legendary SoundResearch, Much Love, Alma Soul Music, Hush Recordz, Estimativa, Tink Records, SoundDesigners, Chienkollective, Troia Recordings, Clubstream Green, Real American Records, Bonzai, Honiara as well as his own vinyl label called Vitalizer.

Lino has recently toured extensively in Europe. In August 2013 he did a North American tour, followed by a small Asia tour in August 2014. For 2015 another tour is planned, this time in South America with dates already confirmed for Brasil,Argentina and Mexico.

This episode I host Brooklyn, New York based musician, producer, and dj Eugene Tambourine (https://soundcloud.com/eugene-tambourine). Eugene Tambourine is one of those rare DJs whose broad-ranging tastes can educate, transport, confuse, elate and inspire all at the same time. I first heard Eugene at the Seattle's Pony a couple of years back and i loved his energy. Along with spinning great sets, Eugene is also a very established musician and producer. At just 21 it is often hard to feel a connection to the essence of a genre which was in its prime before he was even born, but one night at the disco with Get Down Edits and Late Nite Tuff Guy on the decks a spark was lit in Alan. Exquisite track selection, endless grooves, recognizable yet reworked classics and a feel good vibe being constants through his sets, productions and edits. Co-founding the https://soundcloud.com/queenanddisco parties in Derry, Ireland back in 2013 before finally getting involved in the art of the re-edit. It was Queen & Disco that provided the platform for Alan, booking and playing along side some of his favorite producers. Today Alan and Queen & Disco is a sold force in the European dance music circles.

Also, keep an eye out for Queen & Disco's first vinyl release, Royalty of Funk Vol. 1 that will feature, along side the likes of LTJ and Get Down Edits, one of Allan's own edits 'Kofi' which is also the opening track of his set.
