An American Board-certified internal medicine consultant, Dr. Sora Al Rowas left her position as Assistant Professor at Tufts Medical Center to return home to Oman.

She eventually left clinical medicine to pursue a career in healthcare consulting where she can best utilize her unique and broad set of skills. Her passions include teaching yoga and meditation in addition to hiking and adventuring. She is particularly interested in women’s networks and founded one for Omani women - Heya- with over 300 members so far.
