David Boesche is a cult-born intellectual studying Communications and Philosophy at Ohio University. Did I say cult-born on purpose? In fact, I did. David was raised in a Christianity-derived cult named "The Way International", located in Western Ohio, for many of his elementary school years. In this podcast, David talks about his experience with and gives a little history of the organization, including a brief history of the cult, why it is considered the cult, and a few of the many scandals that its higher-ups have brought on the facility.
In addition to speaking about The Way, we also get into some philosophy, discussing objective truth, the Ubermench, identity, and Albert Camus. It was a pleasure to talk at length with David, and I'm glad he has broken away from the Way and turned out to be a radically smart, exceptional specimen of humanity.
