On this episode, we talk with the author of "Division: Life on Ardennes Street." The year is 1994, and a young soldier has arrived to the 82nd Airborne Division for the first time. Author and Master Sergeant (retired) Nathan Aguinaga discusses life in this high speed, rapid deployment United States Army unit. The 82nd Airborne Division  is an airborne infantry division of the United States Army, specializing in parachute assault operations into denied areas with the requirement to "respond to crisis contingencies anywhere in the world within 18 hours." Retired Master Sergeant Aguinaga (Auggie) has tons of cool stories, lessons on leadership and even gets into which piece of killer gear he never deployed without.
