This morning on the Brekky Show. I had a great chat with the Member for Parkes, Mark Coulton about a great update on the Regional Connectivity Program calling for applications for funding to deliver broadband internet. Some more money for council, an update for grants for organisations to hold events for NAIDOC Week and news about the budget being delayed for this year to October.

This week is National Missing Persons' Week, and the Federal Police is aiming to raise awareness of over 2600 people that remain missing in the country. I had a chat with Jodie McEwan from the National Missing Person's Coordination Centre about it.

Lots of great projects are being approved for the region including funding to help seal the Terry Hie Hie Road, the opening of Chalkies Boxing Gym. Adam Marshall and I also discussed the Moree On A Plate festival being organised for next year and many politicians visiting Moree as one of the state government's Special Activation precincts.

I had a chat with North west Racing's Greg Kachel about a local trainer Peter Sinclair and his good run this year as well as his upcoming first race in Sydney. We also did a wrap up of local racing in the area.
