With our news reader on holidays this week. I'm currently taking over news duties. Here's one of my bulletins. Enjoy.

In case you missed it on the brekky show, I had a chat with the NSW member for Northern Tablelands, Adam Marshall about the new hospital being planned for Moree. Also we discussed two new police officers being welcomed in the region as well.

Hello. I had a chat with Federal Member for Parkes, Mark Coulton who was in Dubbo this morning about funding for children whose parents have mental health problems. Also, the latest announcement from the Rural Health Commissioner and the latest updates on the corona virus.

Plus the latest on the future of rugby union coverage on free to air television and the rescheduling of the Bledisloe Cup to November.

Trying something different this time. Thought I'd write a guided meditation to help people relax and keep things in perspective whenever we feel worried, troubled or anxious. As part of the inspiration for this audio, I've been listening to a few Dharma talks by Ajahn Brahmali from Bodhinyana Monastery in WA. He explains very well the concept of death and impermanence and how that should not make us depressed but inspire us to find happiness within ourselves. Feel free to use if you find it helpful.

I had a chat with Narrabri Shire Mayor, Cathy Reading today about how they are coping with the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic. We also discussed what will be brought up in the next council meetings and sadly the Target in Narrabri being closed and how the Narrabri Shire council are looking for alternatives.

In this episode. I had a good conversation with the Mayor of Goondiwindi Shire, Lawrence Springborg who recently been rewarded with an Order of Australia Medal. We also discussed the council announcing halving the development application fees, construction in the shire and the upcoming budget meeting.
