A famous singer that was once the lead vocalist for indie rock band Theaudience has a birthday today.
This is one world record you can bank on, at least if you lived in the Ming Dynasty in China. It's for the world's oldest surviving bank notes which were first printed during the reign of the Hongwu Emperor (1368–1398). I revealed this record on the brekky show this morning. Dollar for dollar, that's a pretty penny.

For today's Guinness World Record segment we're off to London to reveal a museum that has entered the record books for the world's largest archaeological archive. With over 10 kilometres of shelving and 120,000 brown boxes of artifacts, The Museum Of London archive contains everything from old Roman shoes, coffin plates, "witching bottles" and whale bones.
Back in 1882, a great unsolved mystery took place in the North Queensland town of Charters Towers. A large amount of gold went missing at one of the mills and despite police's best efforts they weren't able to find who the culprits were. It remains a mystery to this day.
Today the talented cast of Towers Players are performing a musical based on this historic event, written by the staff of the Charters Towers Visitor Information Centre. Dates are May 1&2, 2025 at St Paul's Playhouse.

That version has since become the world's highest grossing entertainment title ,surpassing the gross of any individual movie, book, videogame, stage production or other such entertainment title when not adjusted for inflation.
