I recently spoke to the Mayor of Gwydir Shire, John Coulton about the recent easing of border restrictions for a few border regions across the north, and the slight increase in intra-state tourists visiting the shire.

We also talked about the controversy surrounding the Koala management policy that is causing a stir in state parliment. and the opening of Moree Community College.

We also talked about the mobile supermarket that is set to service the Mungindi community, the announcement of new funding for the business sector, and the upcoming federal budget.

I had a chat with Katrina Humphreys today with an update on the services available to people of Mungindi help them get back on their feet after the recent fire. she is also full of praise for the out-flowing of support for the community and our wonderful medical staff keeping everyone safe with the Coronavirus.
