Sean Kennedy is a video essayist based in Brooklyn, NY. We discuss his most recent video entitled "Is Art Still Relevant?" on his Youtube page, Art Is Everything. Through this, we discuss the moral & spiritual imperative of entertainment, not being electricians, why we all still have to live in NYC in 2022, humor not being needed in contemporary art, and why the McDonald's ice cream machines are always broken.

Jak Ritger is an artist, writer, and activist based in Boston, Massachusetts. Jak is a part of S.U.S., aka Shifting Uncertain Situations, and along with co-member Clack Auden, produced Astroturfs of Offense, a map of how paid crowd members move through the eco-system of politics and more. A wall text version of this diagram is being shown at The Influencing Machine, an exhibition curated by Aaron Moulton at The Ujazdowski Castle Centre for Contemporary Art in Warsaw, Poland. The show opened last Friday, June 24th, 2022, and runs until November 2022. We discuss his journey to get to the URL spaces (aka a billion different Discord servers) he often resides in, theatre kid energy, slow growth, saying "wet brain" out loud in public, devirtualizing, and what the term activist means in 2022.

M. Sage aka Matthew Sage is "an American musician and intermedia artist working in the overlaps of classical/historical artistic publishing models and disruptive/democratized digital intermedia experience(s)." He also runs Cached Media, an intermedia platform of albums, objects, live streams & more.
We discuss a variety of subjects within the term "Ambient": what it means today, how it's used and abused, as well as the exciting and strange places it's going (like AI-generated ambient works made by evil corporations, allegedly.) Much less a "the current state of" kind of episode, but more a "what does it mean?". Please note: THIS EPISODE CONTAINS NO GEAR TALK.

He went on NPR and the TrueAnon podcast to talk about his first novel—he is currently seeking representation and a publisher for Veiled Prophet. He joins Dynamics Of to discuss his upcoming piece for Current Affairs, profiling Rex Sinquefield, libertarian billionaire and chess obsessive whose trying to privatize St. Louis as we know it. We discuss how despite many failed attempts, the imminent threat of his wealth and vision continues to affect St. Louis and what the average person can do to fight it.

Josh Levi is a musician (playing as Radiator Greys), DIY booker, Archivist, Writer, Lite-Doomsday Prepper, & most recently, a Dad. As a major proponent of the cultural security and growth of DIY ethos in St. Louis/beyond, he shares his 20 years of experience in DIY performing, booking, and archiving. We chat about the current state of DIY, what '$5 at the door' means in an age of staggering wage gaps and post-internet communication. Also, what to throw in your "go bag" if you had to leave your house in 3 minutes (back up those hard drives now).
