Mark Kelly isn't just one of the hosts of the Northern Exposures podcast, he's also an accomplished photographer. This year he was the official photographer of the Montane Yukon Arctic Ultra, an endurance race that features competitors from all over the world running through the Yukon backcountry in extremely cold temperatures. He spoke with Dave White and Alistair Maitland about the challenges of following and shooting the race, and when you have put down the camera and help out.

Every year the Available Light Film Festival draws film makers and industry types from all over the place to Whitehorse for a week of screenings, discussions and meetings.
