A Message from Rabbi Greenblatt
With tremendous concern for the physical and spiritual welfare of our community, Daniela Hermelin, MD and I will provide a 60-minute conference call to provide medical guidance as well as chizuk and support concerning the challenges will we face in the upcoming weeks concerning COVID-19 outbreak.
Dr. Hermelin is Assistant Professor Pathology at Saint Louis University Hospital and is integrally involved in the COVID-19 testing and logistics at Saint Louis University Hospital. The first 30-minutes, Dr. Hermelin will explain the COVID-19 medical details including the epidemiology of the virus, current signs and symptoms, methods of transmission, how to protect your loved ones, and how to seek treatment. We will allow for an additional 30 minutes for questions and answers.
One of the most important ways that we can curtail the spread of the virus, is practicing rigid hand hygiene and by maintaining social distancing which is limiting our interactions with others to prevent transmission of the disease. This includes suspending:
1.) Playdates with other families
2.) Shabbos guests
3.) Additional guidelines will be providing by Rabbi Greenblatt during the conference call
Let us all continue to pray to Hashem that He protect us all and remove this terribly infectious disease from our midst.
