I just love it when people throw parties with an aesthetic. The space itself is also a part of the experience. The art extends beyond the music and provides the raver with a night they won't soon forget. Rat Galactic throws a party like this called Refuge with some other talented humans and their attention to the little details is what makes it awesome in my opinion. Rat is a vital part of their dance music eco-system as a DJ too! Besides being resident at Refuge they also throw events under the name Galactic Sound & Magic; including an acid and electro party series called Nonplus. Deeply entrenched in the underground.
