We can't live a holy (set apart) life by ourselves, but through God's grace, it develops within us as we grow in our Christian walk.

Because God is holy, He calls us, as His people, to live holy lives.

I Corinthians 10:13 - "There hath no temptation taken you but such as is common to man: but God is faithful, who will not suffer you to be tempted above that ye are able; but will with the temptation also make a way to escape, that ye may be able to bear it."

Isaiah 46:9 - "Remember the former things of old: for I am God, and there is none else; I am God, and there is none like me,”

We have been blessed with the ability to conquer sin and temptation that may cross our path, thanks to the power of God working through us.

Sin begins in the form of temptation - a desire that draws us away from God.

Complete surrender to God is the beginning point of true discipleship.

Galatians 5:22-23 - "But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, Meekness, temperance: against such there is no law."
