The single most important thing Christian’s can learn while on earth – is to learn how to love.

That’s one of the reasons God created us – To learn His love, and to learn to love others in that same way.

(I John 4:7-12) 

One of the most important traits of the Christian life is patience. We live in a hurry up world. It takes too long to cook a meal, so we have microwaves. It takes too long to go to the bank, so we make deposits with our phones. It takes too long to develop a skill, so we have apps to help us along.

Yet nothing of lasting value can ever be accomplished unless we are willing to invest the time, diligence, and effort to achieve it. 

We need to patience and longsufferring. 

Because of - 

I can expect great things from God. 

We have the God of all comfort in our life.  

II Corinthians 1:3 – “Blessed be God, even the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of mercies, and the God of all comfort;”

The moment we accepted Jesus as our Savior, we were given the privilege of entering God’s holy presence. Jesus, with full authority as God’s Son, now escorts us into the kingdom throne room. 

Ephesians 3:12 – “In whom we have boldness and access with confidence by the faith of him.” 

Hebrews 4:16 – “Let us therefore come boldly unto the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy, and find grace to help in time of need.”

John 17:20 - "Neither pray I for these alone, but for them also which shall believe on me through their word;"

Hebrews 7:25 - "Wherefore he is able also to save them to the uttermost that come unto God by him, seeing he ever liveth to make intercession for them."
