Galatians 5:19 - "Now the works of the flesh are manifest..."
Galatians 5:22 - "But the fruit of the Spirit is..."
Bottom line: you can be led by the flesh, or you can be led by the Spirit of God, but you can’t be led by both — they are in constant conflict.
1. Christian Growth Is Gradual
2. The Growth Of The Spirit's Fruit Is Inevitable
3. The Fruit Of The Spirit Is Internal
4. Christian Growth Is Symmetrical
What is bearing fruit? Essentially, it is becoming like Jesus. Spiritual fruit will show itself in our lives as a change in our character and outlook. As we spend time with Jesus, cultivating our relationship, and getting to know Him better, His thoughts will become our thoughts. His purpose will become our purpose. We will become like Jesus.
In this episode, we cover the abiding verses in John 15:1-5.
Apart from Jesus Christ we cannot accomplish anything of lasting value. In our selves, fruit does not grow naturally; weeds grow naturally. But when we maintain a daily, dependent, abiding relationship with Jesus Christ, our lives will produce fruit (Galatians 5:22-23).
Fruit is the outward sign of the presence and power of God in our life.
God has given to every believer the supernatural, indwelling presence of the Holy Spirit. The only way to truly live the Christian life is by allowing the "stream" of the Holy Spirit to flow freely through your life.
Galatians 5:22-23 - "But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, meekness, temperance: against such there is no law."

Wrapping up our series on Ephesians.
Ephesians 6:18 - "Praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, and watching thereunto with all perseverance and supplication for all saints;
Ephesians 6:13 - "Wherefore take unto you the whole armor of God, that ye may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand."
Ephesians 6:10-12 - "Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord, and in the power of his might. Put on the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places."
Ephesians 6:9 - "And, ye masters, do the same things unto them, forbearing threatening: knowing that your Master also is in heaven; neither is there respect of persons with him."
