Luke's begins his account in Luke 1 talking about not the baby in the manger, the son of God, but the mother. What does the Bible say about Mary? What kind of faith do you have to accomplish God's plan? Do you believe that you are part of God's plan? Do you believe you were you put here on accident, or do you believe God has a plan for you? God had a plan for Mary and her faith was so strong she enabled God to accomplish that plan. Dr. Bradley digs deep in Luke 1:26-38 to uncover Mary's faith and how we, as Christians, are to share in carrying out his plan, even though we may not fully understand it. A daredevil took a cable and stretched it across Niagra falls. As crowd on both sides watched in amazement, he pushed a wheelbarrow across it. The crowd cheered. Afterwards, he asked a gentleman, "Do you believe I can do it again?" The man replied, "Well yes!" Then the daredevil asked, "Would you get in the wheelbarrow?" Mary had the faith to get in the wheelbarrow, so to speak, even though it meant unbelievable circumstances for her. What kind of faith does it take to accomplish God's will? It is true that the heavens declare the glory of God, but to really understand His will, we must study His Word. Romans 10:17 says, "Faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the world of God."Do you have the trusting faith for God to accomplish His will? As Luke 1:37 remind us, "For nothing is impossible with God."
