If you have a toddler at home you will no doubt hear the word "me, me, me" all the time. It is one of their favorite words and they love using it as it promotes their independence. They use it as a means of expression, a way to say "Mom/Dad I've grown up so please allow me a chance to work". The "me folder" is at its peak from 18months + and supporting it allows a child to grow independently and helps him find his place in the world.
