God's final victory is not in our "going up," but in heaven "coming down."

Judgment is non-negotiable in God's plan. Since all of us are judged, all of our lives are significant.

One interpretation of Revelation 6 is that the effort to conquer sets off a reaction that results in death and destruction. It could be that God uses the Roman's own method of violent conquest to undo their empire.
