I found so many amazing tracks I’d forgotten about from the last 3 decades while crate digging for the Paul Oakenfold gig, I thought I’d put an extended mix together. The first 75mins are basically the warm up set I did for the Oaky show, but then the journey continues through progressive house classics, breaks and trance classics for a total of 2.5hrs, taking the journey of a night from warm up to peak set and to close.

If you like your classics, then this will put a rather large cheeky smile on your face, as the memories come rushing back.

Being asked to play alongside Paul Oakenfold in Liverpool was always going to be special and even though being in the warm up slot, I knew it was going to be an emotional one. 

From digging deep and finding those goosebump tracks I’d forgotten about, bringing all the amazing memories of nights Cream with my mates come flooding back, through to playing at The Dome, which is a spectacular venue.

But this gig surpassed all expectations, the crowd flooded in early, meaning I wasn’t playing to an empty floor, but not only that, they came to party and party they did from the moment they arrived.

This mix comprises of progressive classics, with a sprinkling of a few newer tracks, big room house and breaks, just as you might expect for a trance party warm up set

Here’s a special mix I did at a very intimate party to celebrate 30 years since our first date on legendary dance floor at Cream with my now wife. And now 30 years on, we’ve continued to party around the world, making memories and meeting people that would become friends for life. This mix captures over 5 decades of music in just short of 3hrs, with everything from disco to trance, including something old, something new, quite a few borrowed, but nothing blue.

Here’s my mix from September’s On Hubert Street alongside the legendary Sadar Bahar and fellow residents for the one and only Barry May’s 60th Birthday 

This is one of those gigs I love to dig really deep for, getting to play the tracks that inspired me over the decades from being a young teenager. 

It’s an eclectic mix of soul, funk, disco, nu-disco, Balearic beats, house and electro-funk

Manchester Adored did it again, pulled an amazing line up out of the hat, securing two of the 90s legends that influenced and helped shape my sound… Allister Whitehead and Jeremy Healy. Adored is always one of the highlights of my gig calendar, causing me to dig really deep and giving me the perfect opportunity to put together a mix that reflected THE decade of the dance scene, packed with tracks from the glamorous house of Peruvia and Miss Moneypenny’s and Cream’s main room, but with some modern and Manchester twists.
