Alaskan Sea Life - Kenai Fjords

My video production interests have always been around snowboarding. Learning the skills in 2003 by making a 30 min snowboard film with friends created opportunity one year later to work making a fishing video in Alaska. That experience led me to do more freelance projects, which lead to a job teaching over 4000 5th graders in Taiwan how to make a video. I did some commercial freelance work, live events, around 80 weddings and eventually found other opportunities to pursue. I went through a traumatic life experience, then traveled as a seasonal guide/ski bum turned digital nomad. This is where my digital creativity paused. I stopped editing altogether 4 years ago due to video editing software subscriptions; I wasn’t trying to make money with my videos. I was only making mountain timelapses & videos for non profits. I’m exploring creating new videos of my experiences to share more opportunity using Kdenlive.
