Spent the summer of 2019 working as an outdoor guide around the Kenai Pennisula. Sharing a few of the moments I had a little extra time to get the camera out and capture the natural beauty around. Beginning with a flight above Mt. Spur and the Alaskan range. Jumping next to my first heli flight out to a summer dog sled camp based on a glacier high above the historic town of Seward.
Catching a few moments of clouds dancing along the edge of earth & sky. Most of these shots were taken thanks to a splitboard. Timelapses of Mount: Jefferson, Washington, Baker, Herman, Table Top, Hemispheres, Shuksan, Three Fingered Jack, Three Sisters, Thielsen, & Mcloughlin.
This video holds a somber place for me, it was the beginning of the end of my marriage, which looking back explains a lot of the emotion felt in the music & experience.

Remember Ted Talks? Those had an inspiring momentum building online as videos became streamable and shareable with social media.
I got excited about this and attended a local Tedx (x for Independent?). I didn't film this event, however I was asked if I would edit it and volunteered. This clip is from that day, the first ten minutes is a cool story but the powerful idea comes at the end so I shortened the video to highlight just that!
Here are a few scenes from the sea life discovered around Aialik & Resurrection Bay in Kenai Fjords NP.
Sorry the second clip is a bit shaky, first & only time experiencing Dall's porpoise.

Showing three mountain ranges starting with the Wrangell Mountains, onto the Chugach Mountains around Thompson Pass. Quick shot of Denali mountain @32 and then back to the Chugach.
Thank you to the whole FOSS community of developers in the Fediverse. This video was able to be made because of you, thank you for your effort to continue improving our online world of creativity & communities. After burning out from years of supporting Apple & Adobe subscriptions, I created nothing for four years. I made this video entirely using Free Open Source Software! Thank you KDE for your continued development of KDENLive. I’m beyond amazed how far these projects have come and how much easier it is to use allowing more time to focus on the creativity intended.
These clips were from a trip earlier this year to Japan to see the infamous Japanese Snow Monkeys (Macaques) at the Jigokudani Monkey Park. Being in this moment was one of the coolest nature animal experiences I’ve ever had and without any intent I took these random clips. Thanks for giving me a chance to stay creative and share a unique experience.
