Smith did respectably well to mask his musical shortcomings with gospel chorus swells, vocal riffs, and uses of simplistic harmonies that gave some extra power to the plain structure, but ultimately the underdeveloped me

Being shrouded under a blanket of metric and textural blandness, there were some surprising traits that made the music moderately enjoyable, from lively melodic lines to actual effective solo acoustics at the end, but th
