Continuing the theme, "2nd Pick of 2022," Joey selects the album "Live at Electric Lady" by the R&B singer-songwriter Yebba. This is our most music theory heavy episode and we get really into the nuts and bolts of why this record is compelling. Listeners should be aware there are very intense topics in the lyrical content. Starting the theme, "2nd Pick of 2022," James selects the album "Pain Remains" by the deathcore band Lorna Shore. This record is over an hour long, so we had a very lengthy conversation. As such, the episode has been heavily edited for runtime. Recorded on January 19, 2023.
