Raymond Whitehead is the founding Member of Direct Democracy Ireland. A photographer by trade with a varied career having been a restaurant and night club owner, an athlete, a teacher of Transcendental Meditation and the Science of Creative Intelligence, an interior designer and an Antique dealer, Raymond has a strong interest in conservation , organic food, historic architecture, bee-keeping, plays the Bodhran with traditional Irish bands from time to time and likes to travel.

He set up Direct Democracy Ireland as a response to the stagnant political system and economic rush towards corporatocracy in Ireland and joins John Gibbons to talk about the party, the system and his vision for a brighter future.
