China marked 80 years since Japan’s defeat with a huge military parade - but the real goal was to send a message to the West.
For the first time, Xi Jinping, Vladimir Putin, and Kim Jong-Un appeared together, overseeing nuclear missiles, underwater drones, laser weapons, and even “robot wolves.” Donald Trump, not invited, accused them of “conspiring against the United States.”
Adding to the show of strength, India’s Narendra Modi was also in Beijing this week - fuelling talk of an “Anti-NATO Alliance,” a new Cold War, and the decline of U.S. supremacy.
Is this just propaganda on parade, or a real shift in global power?
